What is the Salesforce Certification exam, and how do I pass it?

Salesforce certifications are crucial for any Salesforce professional’s career. These certifications signify that the candidate has expertise in Salesforce. You should have in-depth knowledge of Salesforce and its best practices to pass these certification exams. Learning the study material, training resources, and hands-on experience in Salesforce can increase your chances of obtaining Salesforce certifications.

First, visit the official Salesforce website to take the Salesforce Certification exam click the ‘Register’ button on the Salesforce home page. Clicking on this button will take you to the Webassessor login page. If you don’t have a Webassessor account, create one and log in. After logging in, you can register for the certification exams of your choice from the given Salesforce Certification lists after paying the required registration fee. Appear for the exam on the selected date and time. Once you finish the test, the results are shared with you immediately.

The fees for Salesforce Certification exams range from US $200 to US $6,000. However, the majority of the certification fees are around US $200.

As a beginner, one should aim for two certifications: Salesforce Administrator Certification and Platform App Builder Certification. Individuals can opt for any of these certifications depending on their interest in learning.

The Salesforce Administrator Certification exam has a 90-minute time limit and 60 multiple-choice or multiple-select questions. Either you can opt for an onsite proctored exam or an online proctored exam. The minimum score required to pass the certification exam is 65%.
